Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of MBKM (Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka) activities in the English Education Study Program at Universitas Pasir Pengaraian. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative design can significantly affect the substance of the research. The sample in this study amounted to 52 students. To select the sample, the researcher used purposive sampling. In collecting data, researchers used questionnaires and interviews to identify the implementation of MBKM activities in the English language education study program. The results showed that the English Education Study Program at Universitas Pasir Pengaraian successfully implemented the MBKM program, which involved 52 students in the MBKM Flagship and MBKM Mandiri schemes. Activities undertaken include student exchanges, internships, teaching assistance, and KKN Thematic, which provide valuable academic and professional experiences for students. Based on findings from questionnaires and interviews, students gave positive understandings of the MBKM Management, the role of support units, and the information systems. The active involvement of various stakeholders at the university has created an environment conducive to the success of the MBKM program, which reinforces the university's commitment to providing quality learning opportunities that prepare students for future career and educational challenges.
