Abstract
The purpose of this research is to determine students' writing skills by using the Round Table given in writing descriptive text in Class data collector In collecting data, researchers used written tests to analyze students' abilities. The results of this research are VERY GOOD TO VERY GOOD. It can be seen that the knowledge used is quite good and good, that means the collaborative team will help them find more knowledge compared to thinking alone, but students only record the understanding they know without thinking about the correctness of the language used to make good sentences. Students are able to create descriptive text better using the round table technique, even though they cannot create it well and correctly and only use vocabulary sentences carelessly, it is good enough for them in learning to create descriptive text.
