Abstract
The purpose of the research is to find out the meaning of the English Slangs in the Ant Man Movie and to classify into types of the English Slangs. Data was taken by observation in the Ant Man Movie. To analyzing the data, there were a few steps. First, it is finding out the meaning of the English Slangs. Second, it is identifying of the English Slangs by depending on context and criteria of the English Slangs. The last, it is classifying depending on types of The English Slangs The English Slangs is non register language. It is more acceptable in daily life because it is more fresh and simple in use. There are forty of The English Slangs found in the Ant Man Movie. The forty four English slangs divided into seven types of The English Slangs. The numbers of the English Slangs created by changes in meaning are fourteen (14), The numbers of the English Slangs created by changes in function are two (2). The numbers of The English Slangs created by changes in form are twelve (12). The numbers of the English Slangs created by abbreviation are five (5). The numbers of The English Slangs created by changes in spelling are seven (7). The numbers of The English Slangs loans are four (4). And The English Slangs from sound are two (2)
