Abstract

This Community Service (PkM) activity was motivated by students' limited understanding of quantitative research according to academic journal standards. Many students experience difficulties in determining research variables, selecting data analysis techniques, and compiling scientific articles systematically and in accordance with academic principles. This activity aims to improve students' understanding and skills in quantitative research and scientific article writing. The implementation method uses a participatory descriptive approach through workshops, discussions, article writing practices, evaluations, and online mentoring. The material provided includes basic concepts of quantitative research, data analysis techniques, scientific article structure, publication ethics, as well as citation techniques and bibliography preparation. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding and skills in systematically developing quantitative research designs. In addition, participants were able to compile initialdrafts of scientific articles and demonstrated active participation throughout the activity. This activity is expected to support the improvement of the quality of student research in higher education.
