Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and product quality on consumer purchasing interest at Grosir Ferry in Pasir Pengaraian. Increasing competition in the grocery retail sector requires businesses to set competitive prices and maintain product quality to attract consumers. This research applied a quantitative approach using a survey method. The sample consisted of 97 consumers of Grosir Ferry selected as respondents. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The data analysis included validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, coefficient of determination, and hypothesis testing both partially and simultaneously. The results indicate that price has a significant influence on consumer purchasing interest, and product quality also significantly affects purchasing interest. Furthermore, price and product quality simultaneously influence consumer purchasing interest. These findings suggest thatappropriate pricing strategies and consistent product quality can enhance consumer interest in purchasing at Grosir Ferry in Pasir Pengaraian
