Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an effect of variations in resistance band exercises on the shooting abilities of futsal extracurricular students at Rambah 1 Public Middle School, Rokan Regency. This research uses the experimental method as a research method in which there is a treatment that is used as an effort to find a certain type of treatment against others under controlled conditions (Sugiyono, 2014: 72). This study will use a preexperimental design, namely the one group pretest-posttest design as the research design. The population of this study amounted to 10 students with a sampling technique using the total sample, namely10 Samples. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of Resistance Band Exercise Variations on the Shooting Ability of futsal extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 Rambah. This can be seen in the pretest value before applying the Resistance Band exercise variation which was obtained at 99.90 and in the posttest results of 100.00, this shows that students' abilities have increased after using the Resistance Band exercise variation method. Based on the results of statistical data with the t-test it is known that the tcount obtained is 1.340 and ttable 1.860, then Ho is rejected Ha is accepted, this shows that there is an effect of variations in Resistance Band exercises on the Shooting ability of futsal extracurricular students at SMP Negeri 1 Rambah Rokan Hulu Regency.
